What is causing my tongue swelling and irritation?

Started on generic zoloft the end of February. Had a wisdom tooth pulled on April 4th. About 3 weeks after I started to have tongue scalloping, then having some swelling of the tongue and irritation . Been to Dr. and looked at my tongue, said to go to dentist. Did that and all he said was that teeth shift after getting teeth pulled and that teeth keep shifting. Went back to Dr. since it has not improved, only gotten feeling worse. Swelling and irritation feeling more so at night.

Could be you also have a slight allergic reaction to the medication. See what it said on the precautions the pharmacist gave you with the medication. They always enclose one of those long instruction sheets with all meds...it's the law. If you accidentally threw it out then call the pharmacy you got your meds at and ask. If your Dentist gave you the meds...call the pharmacy anyway and ask questions. As a last resort call your doctor and insist in a polite way that you had a medical problem that needs reexamined.
Reply:I would seek another doctor's opinion.
Reply:You may have an infection, or you may be having a poor reaction to the Zoloft. If I were you, I'd find a new doctor.
Reply:Like the others I would go to another doctor . It might be a side effect of the Zoloft, or ot could be an infection or maybe a food allergy. Have you had any bood drawn ? That would be the only true way to see what is going on inside your body.

Good luck to you!
