It should be fine- My daughter had the same problem, and I wanted a second opinion until it fell out, and moved into place-

It takes time...
Reply:yes, it could come in crooked b/c it will have to go in a different place if the baby tooth is in the way. I would work on trying to loosen it up.
Reply:If the dr. says to wait, it should be o.k.

My son is six also. He had a permanent tooth come in behind his milk tooth. It was only that way for about a month but the dentist told me it should move up. That was about 2 months ago. Since then , it has moved up but is a little crooked.
Reply:I had teeth come in like that when I was 6 or 7. My teeth came in just fine and I never needed braces. It may or may not come in crooked.
Reply:Is the tooth loose? My daughter had a new tooth coming in, and the baby tooth was just a little bit loose. Her dentist pulled the baby tooth out, since it would cause problems for the permanent one. I would go to another dentist, to get another opinion.
Reply:My sons was like that for 8 months. When it finally did come out the adult tooth moved forward nice and straight. Now its happening with the tooth next to that one.
Reply:huh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Reply:Take her to a dentist and get the baby tooth pulled, your Dr. should not tell you to wait he/she is not a dentist.
