Okay, I got the dr appointment on Monday, but I'm curious to know what this lump is inside my gums??! It's on the buttom, on the inside of my front teeth. My bar-bell use to constantly hit this spot and the dr told me that I had resessed gums, so of course I took it out. Well now, months later, I've begun feeling this "swelling" behind a tooth. Also, the same tooth is pushing forward causing pain soreness on my whole lower jaw. Like the lump is somehow pushing the tooth away.
I wish I never got that tongue ring in the first place!
THIS SUX!!!
Anyways, anyone know the proper names of what I'm talking about??
I'd just like to research it before I head over to the dr on Monday.
Thanks
Tongue ring gum damage; what is the lump???
check the colour of the roof of your mouth If its pale you could have gingivitis. This usually causes a lump or swelling in the area you have stated.Yes the ring could aggravate it but it is very treatable. You need to get a mouthwash that treats gingivitis and use a soft toothbrush.
Reply:I wish every one of these young dumb twits who want a tongue ring or piercing could READ THIS POSTING...
Those tongue piercings are the dumbest thing young girls can possible do to their mouth.

Reply:Well sometimes it can be a tumor. but that is so rare. you i am sure don't have that. but it could also mean swelling. (severe) no worries :DDD
