Can tooth pain cause dizziness?

I need a tooth pulled for about a month now, its causing pain up the side of my face, I feel it in in ear and eye and im dizzy. lightheaded all the time...

Im taking antiboiditics but was only taking one a day or every other day, because i had to wait for an apt to get more.

Can a tooth ache cause dizzyness.

My dr did blood tests for my dizzyness and they were fine.

I did test though for low blood pressure, but he cant find anything wrong with me, thats why im wondering if it will go away after my tooth is pulled?

Can tooth pain cause dizziness?
It might. The roots of your teeth are very near the sinus cavities. If the root is infected, it (the infection) can intrude into the sinus cavities and that can cause dizziness.
Reply:If the infection made it to your inner ear, than yes it can cause dizziness.
Reply:Tooth ache can also affect your sinus's. that can cause the dizziness. Tenderness under the check bone along the front and side of your face when you press on it (That is sinus problems). My upper teeth hurt when my sinus's act up also.
Reply:Yes. Especially if it is an upper molar in the back of your mouth. Good heavens, why are you waiting a month while you are in pain? How busy/popular is this dentist to be scheduled that heavily? Or is he the only dentist on Antarctica or Greenland or wherever you live? If not I'd say, "See you later" and find somebody else. Life is too short to endure pain for no good reason.
Reply:Absolutely. Even the medicine might contribute

But it's good that you're taking antibiotics, I had an undiagnosed/untreated tooth infection (not even tooth pain) when I was in elementary school, but I had so many other symptoms that sent me to the hospital (intense stomach problems, worse than food poisoning), so many tests, they had no clue what, and then they finally traced it to the tooth, which I got pulled, crazy.
Reply:absolutly!! i held off getting my tooth pulled for a long time. then this past weekend i had such bad pain that affected my ear and even my eye. i went to the dentist on monday and got two teeth pulled since the teeth were side by side the dentist wasnt sure which one was causing the pain so he took them both out and i got stiches. the pain from the tooth has went away and i now just have pain from the dental work and swelling and feel dizzy cause of the pain meds.i would say go take care of that tooth asap cause you will feel so much better once you do. also antibotics are good to take but they wont do antything for the pain. the only thing i can suggest would be motrin since it is an anti inflamitory medicine even though towards the end it wasnt helping me at all.take that tooth out!!
