What is the average price for a teeth cleaning session at the dentist?

My Dr is good, but he is expensive (I think) I don%26#039;t have dental insurance and am looking for a less expensive office. My last visit I was in the chair for less than 1/2 hour and my bill was 165$ this seems like rape to me.

The work was performed by a hygienist and it included a literally 45 second exam by the Dr.

What is the average price for a cleaning, and can anyone recommend a cheaper alternative in the Grand Rapids, Holland area of Michigan?

Thanks

it all depends where you are %26amp; where you are getting it done.
Reply:I am in Cincinnati Ohio

Our prices for an exam and cleaning are $110.00

X-rays would be an additional cost.

Our prices are middle of the road.
Reply:if you go to a dental school in your area it will be much cheaper, I think the average teeth cleaning there is about $90, but the only problem is that you have to pay with your time.
Reply:It can vary from dentist to dentist. I was like you too, wondering if I payed to much, until I found the affordable plan I have been searching for. I signed up online over 3 years ago and has saved me thousands of dollars nationwide. From Root canals, extractions, cleanings etc..I would encourage you to visit this website.

They had my benefits active in 2 hours time.

Good Luck. Hope this helps.
