Swallowed crest white strip!?
If you read on the box it says not to swallow them. They can cut your intestines as they pass and caused a bad infection which can kill you.

Reply:read the back of the box and see what it says about ingesting the strip. if it doesnt say anything then call ur dentist and ask (im sure ur not the first) and the reason ur teeth are sensitive today is bc u left it on for so long. the strips eat away at ur plaque and stains on teeth but starts to eat into the enamel when left on too long or used too frequently (ive done the last one) ur teeth will eventually become less sensitive or u just get used to it (not sure which happened for me) but they stopped hurting :)
Reply:LOL! Happened to me once, you'll be okay...You were probably chewing on it in your sleep, that's why your teeth hurt, it should be better in a few hours. If not, call your dentist...(he'll have heard this before) STILL lol!
Reply:I swallowed some gel from the Whitestrip. Is that okay?

Answer

There are no adverse effects from swallowing any gel from the Crest Whitestrips. While swallowing large amounts of gel could cause nausea and stomach irritation, the Crest Whitestrips contain a small amount of peroxide, which shouldn’t cause any irritation or nausea.

If you left it on too long, the sensitivity will probably go away.

Some people may experience tooth sensitivity or gum irritation when using whitening products - this is temporary and not harmful.

  1. Not true. I fell asleep with them on and inadvertently swallowed the lower strip. Woke up nauseated and after several hours finally 'orally expelled' my stomach. I NEVER have nausea..... I am a nurse going on 20 years and I am 99.999% certain that the strip caused the nausea. Once my body 'evicted the culprit strip I felt much better. Not everyone is textbook.... some people with sensitive digestive systems; like me could experience nausea from swallowing a whitening strip. Tee polymers alone could trigger GI upset.
