Can a wisdom tooth cause ear pain ?

I have a wisdom tooth that does not bother me at all but the ear on that side does. I get pain shooting in my ear. I have been to a ear dr. %26amp; he says there's nothing wrong with my ear. I went to the dentist the other day %26amp; asked if I could have to the tooth pulled out but he says it's fine %26amp; no need to do that. It has a lot of silver filling in it %26amp; I just don't think I need to keep it. I wear a lower partial %26amp; it has a clasp that holds on to that tooth so that's why he says I should keep the tooth. Couldn't they just add a fake tooth to the lower partial ?

Can a wisdom tooth cause ear pain ?
I just got three of my wisdom teeth pulled, and my dentist actually told me it would be better to get them all pulled cuz they may cause problems later on in life. I don't know about fake teeth, unless you wanna get a gold one or something, but if you have a clasp that's for a tooth, then you might wanna keep it. It's completely up to you though.
Reply:MOST LIKELY IT IS THE PARTIAL THAT IS CAUSING THE EAR PAIN. MAKE SURE IT FITS RIGHT. NO THEY NEED A TOOTH THERE TO HOLD THE PARTIAL. YOU COULD GET AN IMPLANT.
Reply:It can also be a sinus infection, most people don't even know they have a sinus infection unless they get a CT can for something else.

Try taking a Decongestant and increase fluids and chew gum and see if that helps if it is an infection though you may need an antibiotic.

If you do any type of natural health go to a health store and get some Lavender and put it on your forehead and on your cheek bones, you don't need a lot and it does smell really strong when you first put it on.
Reply:Why don't you just get the stupid tooth pulled, like the rest of us?!
Reply:Yes it can
